How to crochet waves

The minute I saw this pattern I started visioning the colors I wanted to use, it is such a pretty pattern and easy to make, however to see the beauty of it you must change colors for the waves to show

Turquoise light blue white best for this blanket but different people have different taste.

It is up to you what colors to choose.

Row 1: 1sc in the next 2 ch, *1hdc in the next 2 st, 1dc in the next 2 st, 1 trdc in the next 2 st,1dc in the next 2 st,1hdc in the next 2 st ,1sc in the next 2 st#, repeat from* to #

Row 2: ch 4, 1tr in the next 2st, 2dc, 1hdc , 2sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 2tr, 2dc, 1hdc,2sc, repeat

Row 3,5,7,9,........................... repeat row 1

Row 4,6,8,10,12,.......................... repeat row 2

So basically the single numbers you repeat row 1 till you obtain the length required of your project and the same for the pair numbers you repeat row 2
