How to crochet a Bucket hat
Many years ago when I started crocheting , I did this same project with a little twist using a pattern on the internet.
Today, I am again making this hat but a simple version and easier one.
I have recently seen many crocheters posting this same project as it seems to be a trend, so why not add my own version to the market 😊.
So this is a winter hat and I'm using lion brand pound of love yarn.
There are two colors that I love a lot in pound of love yarn, this one that I'm using and the charcoal ( dark gray).
If you haven't tried this project yet, try my version and see how it looks .
Yarn Used:
Crochet hook: 5MM
Written Pattern:
ch3
Round 1: 10 hdc in the first ch from the hook, join
Round 2: ch2, 2hdc in the first st, 2 hdc in every st across, join.
Round3 :Ch2, 2 hdc in the same st, 1hdc in the next st, repeat 2,1,2,1, till end of the round, join.
Round4 :Ch2,2hdc in the same st, 1hdc in the next 2 st, repeat.
Round5: Ch2,2hdc in the same st, 1hdc in the next 3 st, repeat.
Round6: Ch2,2hdc in the same st, 1hdc in the next 4 st, repeat.
Round7: Ch2,2hdc in the same st, 1hdc in the next 5 st, repeat.
Round8: Ch2,2hdc in the same st, 1hdc in the next 6 st, repeat.
Put a stitch marker at the last joined round.
Ch2, hdc in the next st and every st around for the next 15 rounds.
You'll be working in spiral without closing the rounds every time ( refer to the video).
Round 16, 2hdc in every st till end of the round ( where the st marker is )
Round 17 to 21,1 hdc in every st ( again working in spiral.)
At the end of round 21, sl st in the next 4 stitches, fasten off .
And your hat is ready 😊
what gauge yarn did you use?
