The granny square head scarf written pattern
So since summer is starting slowly , I thought of making this summer vibes headscarf, I love the colors combo and how it turned out to be. this scarf is very light and versatile, you can choose any color you wish, the result will always be pretty with the granny square.
So this pattern is in three steps, one , is how to make the granny square, two is how to make the triangle granny square and three is how to join as you go.

Materials:
Any mercerized cotton yarn
Crochet hook: 4MM
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
st: stitch
sl st: slip stitch
dc: double crochet
cluster, 3 dc in the space
Color Chart:
Color A: yellow
Color B: light green
Color c: dark green
Color D: white
Written Pattern:
Granny square ( make 10)
Row 1: with color A, ch4, join to the first ch to form a ring, ch3, 2dc in the ring, ch2, 3dc in the ring, ch2, 3dc in the ring, ch2, 3dc in the ring, ch1, join to the top ch 3. Fasten off.
Row 2: with color B, From any ch2 space, join with a slip st, 2dc in the same space, in the next space ( 3dc, ch2, 3dc) repeat in the next 2 spaces, in the last one ( where you started the first cluster) 3dc, ch1, join to the top initial ch 3. Fasten off.
Row 3: with color C, From any corner, join with a sl st, ch 3, 2dc in the same space, ch 2 3dc all in the same space, 3 dc in the next space, ( 3dc, ch2, 3dc) in the next corner, 3dc in the next space, ( 3dc, ch2, 3dc) in the next corner, 3dc in the next space, ( 3dc, ch2, 3dc) in the next corner, 3dc in the next space, join with a sl st to the top ch3, fasten off.
Half granny square (make 3)
Row 1: With color A, Ch4, 2dc in the first ch from the hook, ch2, 3 dc in the same ch, fasten off.
Row 2: with color B, join to the last worked st, ch3, 2dc in the same st as ch 3, (3dc, ch2,3dc) in the ch2 space, 3dc in the last st. fasten off.
Row 3: With color C, join to the last worked st, ch3, 2 dc in the same st as ch 3, 3dc in the next space, (3dc, ch2,3dc) in the ch2 space, 3 dc in the next space, 3 dc in the last st. fasten off.
Join as you go
With color D: repeat row 3 fully on one square.
square 2, work all sides with color D leaving one side unworked ( only half corner worked) join to the first worked square with a sl st from the facing corner, work the rest 3dc in that corner ( check video), sl st in the next space and work 3dc in the second square, continue until the end of both squares and fasten off.
work one side of the triangle first then start joining the rest as you go.
Repeat the same process for the granny triangle.
once the last triangle on the side completed, don't fasten off, ch 30.
Sl st back to where you started the ch, 2sc in every dc st till you reach the next corner, ch30 again, sl st back and fasten off.
The scarf is now ready !
