crochet a beach bag

 So I have done this project in my begining years of crochet and I remember I was so happy and proud how u could crochet this beach bag, I loved the colors and how it looks all together, so here I'm sharing with you how I made it and the written pattern below.

I have used red heart yarn for this , you can use any acrylic yarn.

Abbreviations 

ch: chain

sl st: slip stitch

dc: double crochet

Written Pattern 

Ch4, join with sl st in the first ch from hook. 

 Round 1: Ch 3, 2dc in the formed circle, ch2, 3dc in the circle, ch2,3dc in the circle, ch2, 3dc in the circle, sl st on top of the first ch 3. 

 Round 2: Ch3, 2dc in the same space, *ch1, ( 3dc, ch2,3dc) in the next space#, repeat from *till # twice more, afterwards, ch1, 3dc in the beginning space, join with sl st on top of the chain3. 

 Round 3: Ch3, 2dc in the same space, *ch1, 3dc in the next space, ch1( 3dc,ch2,3dc) in the next space ( corner)#, repeat from *till # . ch1, 3dc in the next space, ch1 3dc in the initial corner, join with sl st on top of the ch3.

Round 4 : Ch3, 2dc in the same space, *ch1, 3dc in the next 2 spaces, ch1( 3dc,ch2,3dc) in the next space ( corner)#, repeat from *till # . ch1, 3dc in the next space, ch1 3dc in the initial corner, join with sl st on top of the ch3.

Row 5 to 9 : Repeat row 4 .

Attaching the squares:

With any 2 squares, hold them from the sides, sl st  the chosen color, ch 1, sc in every st, 1 sc in the spaces between the clusters.

Repeat the same for all the sides and bottoms. Fasten off.

The straps (2):

Make a magic loop, insert your hook in any upper corner of the bag, ch 50, join to the corner of the same square. turn

ch1, hdc in every ch till you are back to the starting corner, sl st at the end. turn.

Sl st in every st, till the end, Fasten off.

Repeat in the opposite corners once more.
