Winter must have hats and beanies

 

Hi everyone, hope you are all great and doing well!

Have you been surprised by the sudden wave of cold this year, for us at home, it was hot for so long that we thought winter is not coming and we kept wearing light clothes, until one day, the cold hit.

Anyway, this is to say , Thank god for having crochet in my life, for when I don't have a hat or a scarf to keep me warm, I still have my hook and yarn to make them :)

Here I'm Gonna share with you some of essential patterns for  a warm winter season, few of my favorite hats which got a lot of love from fellow crocheters.

So without further due we'll get started:

First and what I like the most is ,

The Ribbed crochet Beanie:

this beanie is super easy even for very beginners as you don't need to go in rounds, you only make a big piece and sew the sides together. The piece is worked in the back loops for a certain number of rows then as I said stitched together, for more information click here for the written pattern.

The simple Double crochet beanie:

This one though is worked in round of double crochet stitches, for the first 5 rounds or so, you'll follow a certain number of stitches to keep the circle flat, then you'll just go in rounds with 1 dc in every stitches till the end to give it the shape of the hat.

Bucket hat

The so so trendy hat last year, it was so famous that I could see it everywhere, this is a more stylish one than the beanies and still warm and cozy, with any color you wish, here is the pattern for how to achieve it as well.

Easy Beret

I have done this beret with three different colors and one of them with a pompom, it is wide and fits nicely on the forehead, another stylish head wear you can make yourself

Knit stitch Beanie

This is a nice one if you like the simple beanie but with a twist, the knit stitch makes it look pretty and special, here is the post for it.

So with these accessories you can guarantee for yourself and loved ones a warm and nice winter season made by you and saving money on buying expensive ones.

For all these patterns I have used pound of love yarn from Lion brand and with one skein, you can make one infinity scarf and one hat and maybe another hat, it is a jumbo skein and it's price is between 9 to 11 dollars.
