Crochet letter Q
Letters are A must know in crochet as it first expends your knowledge about crochet and gives you more option for crochet projects.
I have done most of the alphabets and numbers and the patterns are all available in the blog, just press the tag crochet alphabets and you'll find them all.
For today here is the pattern for letter Q
Materials:
Cotton yarn
Crochet hook: 2.5 mm
Measurements:
4/8/14 cm approx
Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Sc: single crochet
2 sctog: 2 single crochet together
Written Pattern:
ch6
Row 1: 2sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch, 2 sc in the last ch
Row 2 to 4: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in every st, 2 sc in the last st.
Row 5 to 13: ch1, sc in the next 5 st. Fasten off.
Join the yarn to the opposite side, ch 1, sc in the same st as ch 1, sc in the next 4 st.
Repeat the same as row 5 to 15.
Row 16: ch1, 2 sctog, sc in every st, ch4, sc in every st, 2 sctog in the last 2 st.
Row 17: ch1, 2sctog, sc in every st, 2 sctog in the last 2 st.
Row 18 and 19: Repeat row 17
Row 20: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, sc in the next st, 2 sctog in the last 2 st.
Row 21: ch1, 2 sctog in the 2 st, sc in the next st, 2 sc in the last st.
Row 22: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, sc in the next st, 2 sctog in the last 2 st
Row 23: ch1, 2 sctog in the 2 st, sc in the next st, 2 sc in the last st
Row 24:ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, sc in the next st, 2 sctog in the last 2 st
Row 25: ch1, 2 sctog in the 2 st, sc in the next st, 2 sc in the last st
Fasten off.
