Crochet letter S

 Letters are A must know in crochet as it first expends your knowledge about crochet and gives you more option for crochet projects.

Cotton mercerized yarn

2.5 mm crochet hook

Measurements

Approx 9cm

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Sl st: slip stitch

Sts: stitches

Sctog: single crochet together

Written Pattern

ch5

Row 1: 2sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch, 2 sc in the last ch

Row 2 to 4: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, sc in the next sts, 2 sc in the last stitch

Row 5 to 8: ch1, sc in the next 5 st.

Row 9: ch1, 2sctog, sc in the next 6 st

Row 10: 2 sc in the 2nd ch, sc in every ch, 2 sctog in the last 2 st.

Row 11: ch1, 2sctog, sc in every st, 2 sc in the last st

Row 12: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, sc in every st, 2 sctog in the last 2 st.

Row 13 to 16: ch1, sc in every st.

Row 17: 2 sctog in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch, continue ch 7

Row 18 to 20: ch1, 2 sctog in the 1st 2 st, sc in every st, 2 sctog in the last st.

Fasten off.
