Crochet the cross-stitch head scarf Pattern
This scarf is worked from the large part to the smallest throughout the work, it is worked in decreasing the rows till you obtain the triangle shape, the end result is pretty and can be worn as a head scarf or a neck warmer, it is neither big or small which makes it perfect to carry in your bag anywhere.
Materials
Kartopu cotton yarn or similar (2 skeins)
crochet hook: 4 mm
Measurements
77 cm from the 3 angles
Gauge:
10 cm: 14 rows/ 16 sts of sc

Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Sc: single crochet
Sk: skip
Dc: double crochet
Cross stitch: sk on stitch, make 1 dc in the next 2 st, yarn over, come back in front of the 2 dc and insert the hook at the back of the sk st and work double crochet.
Sctog: single crochet together
Written pattern
Ch 121
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch till the end of the row
Row 2: ch2, sk the 1st st (the one under the ch 2), dc in the next 2 sts, yarn over, go back behind the 1st skipped st , crossing in front of the 2 dc and work a dc (watch the video). Sk the next st, work 1 dc in the next 2 st, come back and work 1 dc in the skipped st, repeat till the end of the row.
Row 3: ch1, 2 sctog in the 1st 2 sts, sc in every st, 2 sctog in the last 2 sts.
Row 4: repeat row 2
Row 5: repeat row 3
Alternate between row 2 and 3 till you are left with 1 cross stitch at the end of the work, fasten off.
The decrease is always made in the single crochet row, in the cross-stitch row nothing changes it is always worked the same
