Oversized top crochet pattern
This top is worked from bottom up using the back loop stitch only, it is made of 30 rows on each piece back and front, I have used a much larger hook than the recommended in the yarn label to make the top light and loose.
Measurements
61/43 cm
10 cm: 12 st/ 8 rows
Materials:
3 balls of cotton yarn ( kartopu love cotton)
5.5 mm crochet hook
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
st: stitch
sts: stitches
dc: double crochet
Written pattern
Ch 90
Row 1: dc in the 4th ch from the hook, dc in every ch till the end.
Row 2: ch2, only working on the back loop from now on, dc in the 1st st and every st.
Repeat row 2 for total of 30 rows.
Shaping the colar
Row 31: ch2, dc in the back loop of the next 28 st, ch31, sk 31, dc in the next back loop st and every st till the end of the row (should be 28 sts as well)
Row 32: ch2, dc in the back loop of every st and every ch.
Row 32 till 60: ch2, dc in the back loop of every st, fasten off.
Stitching the sides of the arms
From the side shoulder, count 12 rows and start stitching afterwards till the bottom.
Repeat the same on the other side.
