Chevron stitch beanie crochet pattern
this pattern is worked 5 stitches up and 5 down with a gap of 2 sts , it is repetitive from row 2 till the end, you just need to make a multiple of 13 to get the size required
Sizing:
Small: ch 92
Medium: ch 105
Large: ch 118
Gauge:
10 cm: 10 rows/ 19 sts
Materials:
Crochet hook: 4mm
Yarn: sport dk yarn (similar)

ch: chain
st: stitch
sts: stitches
hdc: half double crochet
sk: skip
Written Pattern
ch a multiple of 13
ch 92
join
Row 1: sk 2 ,1 hdc in the next 5 st, 3 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 5 st, sk 2, 1 hdc in the next 5 st . repeat till end of the round, 1 hdc in the last st.
Row 2: ch2, sk 2 sts, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts, *3 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts, sk 2, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts**, repeat from * to ** till the end of the row, 1 hdc in the last st.
Repeat Row 2 till row 22, leave a long thread for stitching.
With a tapestry needle, start sewing from the yarn point on the side till the crown.
When you reach the crown or the top of the beanie, insert the needle in every st in and out till the end, pull the yarn very tight and stitch around to close. fasten off.
Note: if you are not used to the chevron stitch, it might be confusing at first, just follow the pattern steps and you'll be able to achieve it correctly.
