Chevron stitch open beanie crochet pattern
This pattern is worked 5 stitches up and 5 down with a gap of 2 sts , it is repetitive from row 2 till the end, you just need to make a multiple of 13 to get the size required
Sizing:
Small: ch 92
Medium: ch 105
Large: ch 118
Gauge:
10 cm: 10 rows/ 19 sts
Materials:
Crochet hook: 4mm
Yarn: sport dk yarn (similar)
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
st: stitch
sts: stitches
hdc: half double crochet
sk: skip
Written Pattern
chain multiple of 13
ch 92
Join
Row 1: sk 2 ,1 hdc in the next 5 st, 3 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 5 st, sk 2, 1 hdc in the next 5 st . repeat till end of the round, 1 hdc in the last st.
Row 2: ch2, sk 2 sts, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts, *3 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts, sk 2, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts**, repeat from * to ** till the end of the row, 1 hdc in the last st.
Repeat Row 2 till row 14, leave a long thread for stitching.
With a tapestry needle, start sewing from the yarn point on the side till the crown.
fasten off.
