Double crochet striped blanket
This blanket is perfect for whoever wants to make a quick and easy striped/ patchwork blanket without spending too much time, using the double crochet stitch and large hook makes it fast to achieve.
Each color is made of 10 rows of double crochet, you might end up short of yarn in the middle of the work so follow the instructions on how to join the yarn from that point
The blanket is made of 7 colors and total of 70 rows.
Materials
1 ball of yarn from each color
Crochet hook: 6.5 mm

Ch 120
Row 1: dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, dc in every ch till the end
Row 2 to 70: ch2, dc in the 1st st as ch 2, dc in every st till the end of the row.
Color change:
If the color change is at the end of the row:
With the loop of the old color in the crochet hook, hold the new color with the hook and join it to the old one, ch2 (make sure the loose extremities are held with your other hand/ fingers.
If you change the color in the middle of the row:
Hold the end of the finished yarn to the right side, holding the new yarn in a loop shape with your left hand, join the loop, yarn over and make a dc, hide the extra yarn as you work your dc.
