 Ch: chain

 St: stitch

 Sl st: slip stitch

 Sc: single crochet 

Dc: double crochet

 Hdc: half double crochet

 Sk: skip 

Sp: space 

Cross stitch: sk the 1st st, dc in the next 2 sts, dc in the skipped st

 Ch3

 Round 1: 6 hdc in the 1st st from the hook, join 

Round 2: ch2, 2 hdc in every st, join 

Round 3: ch2, 2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next st, repeat 2, 1, 2, 1 till the end of the round, join. Round 4: ch2, 2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 2 sts, repeat till the end of the round, join. 

Round 5: ch2, 2 hdc in the 1st st, 1 hdc in the next 3 sts, repeat till the end of the round, join
