Cross stitch round blanket crochet pattern

 

This beautiful blanket is not difficult to work with if you are familiar with the cross stitch and flat circle making, it is extendable from the single crochet rounds and the same in all cross-stitch rounds, it is a nice project to add to your crochet library.

How to crochet the Cross stitch round blanket

 Abbreviations

Ch: chain 

St: stitch 

Sl st: slip stitch 

Dc: double crochet 

Sc: single crochet

Cross stitch: sk 1st st, dc in the next 2 sts, dc in the back of the sk st . 

Written pattern 

Ch2

 Round 1: 6 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join 

Round2: ch1, 2 sc in every st, join

 Round 3: ch2, sk 1st st, dc in the next 2sts, dc in the back of the sk st. Sk next st, dc in the next 2 sts, dc at the back of the sk st (cross stitch made), repeat throughout 

Round 4: repeat round 2 

Round 5: repeat round 3 

Round 6: repeat round 2 

Round 7: repeat round 3 

Round 8: ch1, 2sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next st, repeat till end of the round. Join
