V stitch shawl crochet pattern
This shawl is worked from bottom to top however it is worn sideways, the v stitch is very simple and repetitive and makes the shawl look pretty

Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Dc: double crochet
V stitch: dc, ch1, dc all in any previous v st.
Sp: space
Ch1 sp: is the space inside the v stitch
Written Pattern
Ch4
Row 1: 2dc in the 4th ch from the hook, ch1, dc in the same ch.
Row2: ch2, v st in the previous V st (the one made of the initial ch and the 1st dc), 2 v st in the last v stitch or ch1 space.
Row 3: ch2, double v stitch in the ch1 sp or previous v stitch, 1 v st in every previous v st or ch 1 sp till the end of the row.
Row 4: ch2, 1 v stitch in every previous v st, double v stitch in the previous last v st.
Alternate between row 3 and 4 until the end of your work. Whenever you finish a row with a double v st, the next row will also be a double v st and whenever you finish a row with 1 v st, the beginning of the next row will also be 1 v st. Check the video for more clarity if needed.
