Crochet apron pattern
This apron pattern is easy and straight forward, it is worked from bottom to top using a simple stitch, single crochet, the straps are worked along the way. 3 yarn skeins of medium worsted yarn were used for this project.
Materials
3 burgundy red heart super saver
6 mm crochet hook
Measurements
Without the straps:
74/ 72 cm
Each strap is 47 cm
Gauge
10 cm: 12 sts/ 13 rows
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Sc: single crochet
Written pattern
Ch 81
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch
Row2: ch1, sc in the 1st st as ch1, sc in every st.
Row 3 to 60: repeat row 2
Once row 60 completed continue chaining 51 for the strap.
Work back with a sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch, continue to sc in the initially worked piece, once you reach the other side, continue chaining 51 and repeat sc back.
Continue working sc in every st from first strap to the next one for total of 4 rows.
At the end of the 4th row, you should be working back from the last strap, sc in the solid piece for 60 times. Turn.
Ch1, sc back in the next 40 sts. Turn
Repeat ch1, sc in the 40 sts for 40 rows.
At the end of the last row, ch 51, sl st at the next end of the piece, sl st into the following sc.
Sc in every ch back to the other extremity.
Repeat the last for 4 rows. Fasten off.
