Crunch stitch tablet sleeve pattern
This tablet sleeve is worked in one piece and folded later to make a sleeve, it is a repetitive row and quick to make. To adjust the size of the sleeve you’ll need to chain a number equal to the width of the tablet.
Materials
Medium worsted yarn
6 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Measurements
25/17 cm folded and stitched
Gauge
10 cm: 17 rows/ 13 sts

Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sc: single crochet
Hdc: half double crochet
Sl st: slip stitch
Written pattern
Ch21
Row 1: sl st in the 2nd ch from the hook, hdc in the next st, sl st in the next st, hdc in the next st, alternate between sl st, hdc till the end of the row
Row 2: ch1, hdc in the same st as ch 1, sl st in the next st, alternate, hdc, sl st, till the end of the row.
Alternate between row 1 and 2 till row 84. Leave a long thread for stitching.
Note: When you start a row with the sl st, your last st will be a sl st and when you start with hdc, your last will be hdc.
Using a tapestry needle, start stitching a basic stitch from top to bottom and going to the 2nd side from bottom up. Fasten off.
