Cube crochet pattern
This pattern is very easy and straight forward using a simple stitch, it is worked mostly in one piece and later worked on the sides by joining the yarn, the size would depend on you how big you want it and can be decided from the number of chains you make from the beginning.
Measurements
6.5 cm on all sides
Materials
Any worsted medium yarn
4 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Fiber fill or cotton
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Sc: single crochet
Sts: stitches
Written pattern
Ch21
Row 1: sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in every ch.
Row 2 to 40: ch1, sc in the 1st st as ch 1, sc in every st.
Side squares:
Row 1: On the side of the 11th row of the 1st panel, join the yarn, ch1, sc in the same st as ch 1, sc in the next 9 sts.
Row 2 to 10: ch1, sc in every st (10 sts)
Repeat row 1 to 10 on the opposite side.
Fold every 10 rows to give the shape of the square, stitch the outer side of every panel. On the last one, fill the square with either fiber fill or cotton, finish stitching and fasten off.
