Granny square beanie crochet pattern
It's again the time of the year where we start wearing our funky hats for summer, this granny square is quick and easy to achieve, starting with 5 squares then joining them and shaping the beanie, with the video tutorial and written pattern, you’ll be able to achieve it quickly. The size is good for S/M/L.
Materials
1 skein of each color: purple, grey, light pink, orange tangerine
6 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle

Square: 12/12 cm
Gauge
10 cm: 21 sts/ 8 rows

Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
Dc: double crochet
Sc: single crochet

Make 5 squares
Sl knot and ch3
Row1: 2 dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, ch 2, 3 dc in the same ch, ch2, 3 dc in the same ch, ch2, 3 dc in the same ch, ch2, join to the initial ch3 with a sl st.
Row2: ch3, in the next ch2 sp make (3dc, ch2, 3dc), repeat () in all the sps, in the last sp ( 3dc, ch2, 2 dc) join to the initial ch3 sp.
Row3: ch3, 2dc in the same sp as ch 3, *3 dc in the next sp, (3dc, ch2, 3dc) all in the next sp,** repeat from * to ** till the end of the row, in the last sp, 3dc, ch2, join with a sl st to the initial ch3.
Row 4: repeat row 3. Fasten off
Hold 2 of the granny squares facing out, join the yarn in any corner with a sl st, sl st in every back loop of both grannies till the end of one side, repeat the same for the remaining sides.
Using a tapestry needle, join the side granny's together till you finish all 4 sides.
To shape the hat
Join the yarn in any st of the lower side of the granny squares, ch1, sc in the same st as ch1, sc in every st for 2 rows. Fasten off.
