Perfect cross stitch bucket hat pattern
This cross-stitch bucket hat is worked from top to bottom and uses alternatively single crochet round and a cross-stitch round throughout the work, it is easy to achieve provided you are familiar with the cross stitch.

2 yarn balls medium worsted
1 yellow
1 light brown

Written pattern
Round 1: Ch2, 8 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join to the 1st ch
Round 2: ch2, sk 1st st, 1 dc in the next 2 sts, work a dc in the sk st. Sk next st, dc in the next 2 sts, work a dc in the sk st, repeat the same till the end of the round, join to the 1st ch 2.
Round 3: ch1, 2sc in every st.
Round 4: repeat round 2
Round 4: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next st. Alternate, 2 sc in one st, 1 sc in the following st, join.
Round 5: repeat round 2
Round 6: ch1, 2 sc in the 1st st, 1 sc in the next 2 sts. Alternate, 2 sc in one st, 1 sc in the following 2 sts, join.
