Elisabeth stitch crochet pattern

This is a general pattern for the Elisabeth stitch which can be used for any project of your choice.

10 cm: 10 rows/ 12 sts

Materials

Medium worsted yarn or any yarn of your choice with the recommended crochet hook

6 mm crochet hook

Ch: chain

St: stitch

Sp/Sps: space/ spaces

Sk: skip

Chs: chains

Written Pattern

ch 30 or any pair number depending on your project

Row 1: on the 4th ch from the hook,* insert the hook into the ch, pull through, yarn over and insert the hook again and pull through, pull through all loops, ch1**, sk 1, repeat from * to ** till the end of the row .

Row 2: ch1 ( with the previous ch1 that makes it 2 chs), in the previous ch1 sps, you'll ,* insert the hook into the ch, pull through, yarn over and insert the hook again and pull through, pull through all loops, ch1 till the end of the row. The last st will be worked in the last ch1 sp.

Repeat row 2 throughout your project.
