Single crochet granny square pattern
This single crochet granny square is fun pattern to make and a bit different from the classic granny square, it is to try if you like the granny square but want to change a bit.
Materials
Medium worsted yarn/ 6 mm crochet hook
Or any yarn of your choice with the recommended crochet hook
Measurements
10 cm: 12 rows/ 12 sts
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sc: single crochet
Sl st: slip stitch
Sp: space
Sts: stitches
Written pattern
Ch2
Row 1: 2sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, ch2, 2sc in the same ch, ch2. Total of 4 times ( 2sc, ch2) join to the beginning st.
Row2: ch1, sc in the 1st st, in the ch2 sp( sc, ch2, sc), sc in the next st. Repeat (in the corner ch2 sp: sc, ch2, sc. Sc in the next sp.) sl st in the beginning st.
Row3 to ....: repeat row 2 knowing that there will be an increase in the number of sts with every row, the corners will always be 4 and the same.
