 5 cm: 7 rows/ 6 sts 

Materials: 

Medium worsted yarn (4)

 5.5 mm crochet hook 

Abbreviations 

ch: chain 

st: stitch

 sl st: slip stitch

 sc: single crochet 

sk: skip 

Written Pattern: 

ch2, in the 2nd ch from the hook:

 Row 1: 3 sc, ch2, 3sc, ch2, 3sc, ch2, join to the beginning st.

 Row 2: ch1, sc in the next 2 sts, ( 2sc, ch2, 2sc) in the next corner, sc in the next 2sts, ( 2sc, ch2, 2sc), sc in the next 2 sts, ( 2sc, ch2, 2sc), join to the beginning ch1. 

Row 3: ch1, sc in every st, in every corner ( 2sc, ch2, 2sc), join. Repeat row 3 till you get the width required of your project.
