Double V stitch beanie crochet pattern
This beanie is worked from top to bottom in rounds, initially worked as a flat circle using the double V stitch and then shaped into a beanie the same way you would crochet a normal beanie.

Materials
1 medium worsted yarn ( vanna’s choice yarn)
5.5 mm crochet hook
Abbreviations
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Dc: double crochet
Double v stitch: dv st: yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch, pull through 2, hold, yarn over again, pull through 2 and pull through all, ch 1, repeat the same.

Ch4
Round 1: in th 4th ch from the hook, dv st 6 times, join with a sl st
Round 2: ch2, in the ch1 sp, make a dv st twice, in the next sp, 1 dv st. Alternate: in 1 sp, dv st twice, in the next sp, dv st once. Join.
Round 3: ch2, in the ch1 sp, make a dv st twice, in the next 2 sp, 1 dv st. Alternate: in 1 sp, dv st twice, in the next 2 sp, dv st once. Join.
Round 4: ch2, in the ch1 sp, make a dv st twice, in the next 3 sp, 1 dv st. Alternate: in 1 sp, dv st twice, in the next 3 sp, dv st once. Join.
Round 5: ch2, in the ch1 sp, make a dv st twice, in the next 4 sp, 1 dv st. Alternate: in 1 sp, dv st twice, in the next 4 sp, dv st once. Join.
For medium size, continue with round 6
Round 6: ch2, in the ch1 sp, make a dv st twice, in the next 5 sp, 1 dv st. Alternate: in 1 sp, dv st twice, in the next 5 sp, dv st once. Join.
For larger size continue with the increase of single dv st to round 7
Round 7 to 11 or for a longer beanie to 13:
Ch2, dv st once in every ch1 sp around.
Fasten off.
