For a bigger circle, you continue increasing the number of sc in a st by 1 in every round till you get the width required for your circle.
Count the last number of stitches of the last round, in this pattern 30. Minus 4 sts from 30 for the corner purpose, divide the rest in 4, you get 6.5 will be counted as sts for each side.
For each side between the corners no matter what your count, you start with 1 hdc in the next 2 sts followed by a given number of sc and end with 1 hdc in the last 2 sts before the corner.
1st square:
*2dc, ch2, 2dc in the 1st st. 1 hdc in the next 2 sts, 1 sc in the following 2 sts, 1 hdc in the following 2 sts. Repeat * 3 more times, join with a sl st.
Next row/ square:
in the corners: 2dc, ch2, 2 dc. in every st, dc.
You can continue with the last row for as many times as you want.
