This mitered granny square is done with 2 clusters initially rather than granny square, it is a repetition of 2 rows throughout the work, very easy to make especially with the availability of the video tutorial.

Materials

Medium worsted yarn (4)

6 mm crochet hook

Measurements/ gauge

10 cm: 16 sts/5 rows



Abbreviations

ch: chain
dc: double crochet
sp: space


Written Pattern

Row 1: ch4, 2 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, ch2, 3 dc in the same ch.

Row 2: ch2, in the corner ( ch2 sp), 3dc,ch2, 3dc. dc in the last st.

Row 3 : ch2, 2 dc in the 1st sp as ch2. in the corner, 3 dc, ch2,3dc. 3 dc in the last sp.

Row 4: ch2, 3 dc in the next sp,in the corner, 3 dc, ch2,3dc. 3 dc in the next sp, dc in the last st.

Row 5: ch2,2 dc in the 1st sp as ch2, 3 dc in the next sp. in the corner, 3 dc, ch2,3dc. 3dc in the next sp, 3 dc in the last sp.

Alternate between row 4 and 5 until width required of your project.
